As I’ve decided to share pieces of myself here, I believe this is the only of my original songs that I’ve shared on the internet.

As for this post’s title it’s not quite “truth” because the break-up described in the song did not happen to me. Instead the song is actually based on several different experiences of mine and others made into a single story. It was written as a comment on the danger that apathy and lack of communication (until it’s too late) poses to any relationship, a pattern that can be all too easily fall into over time.
